Dalmatica Romana, a decon tunic from the ancient Roman senate, now worm as a liturgical dalmatica. are period Roman/Greek era garments. It is shaped like a cross, and was appropriated as a distinctive garment by the enthusiastic and faithful followers of Christ, who wore angustus clavus (stripes) of deep red or purple. We offer lots of colors.

This garment can be machine washed and dried on low. Like all Garb the World garments, we stitch them to be worn and washed like 'regular' clothing.
