The Colobium is a wide, sleeveless, rectangular garment, belted at the waist with a rope belt. This simple garment was worn both in ancient Greece and Rome. The Romans tended to think only foreigners and barbarians wore sleeves. Men of the upper classes would wear a Toga over it.
* Length 48 inches (from shoulder to hem)
* Width is 58 to 60 inches (from side to side).
* Simple round neck.
* Rope belt included
This garment can be machine washed and dried on low. Like all Garb the World garments, we stitch them here in the USA to be worn and washed like 'regular' clothing.
