Gothic chasuble is a very old garment, originally thought to have been worn as religious garb as early as 316. White Chasubles were typically worn for Easter or Christmas, while red Chasubles were worn by the apostles and marters. Black Chasubles were worn for Advent and Lent and days of affliction and departed.
Our chasuble is short and pointed in front and full length and wide in the back.
